The Adapt range of chairs has been designed for ultimate comfort and are made to measure to guarantee correct posture with maximum adjustment.

We offer a comprehensive assessment and bespoke fitting service to ensure that every chair purchased is just right for the individual user.

Normally a chair manufactured specifically for one customer would be cost prohibitive, however, the revolutionary method of applying a users measurements to the manufacture of any model enables us to produce a chair with unique comfort zones at a very affordable price.

These unique ‘comfort zones’ are brought about by a three stage process:

1. By by manufacturing the chair to certain critical measurements thus making it proportionally correct.

2. Applying Level 1 Adaptations - i.e. Neck Rests, Arms, Split Seat, Movement Lock etc.

3. Applying Level 2 Bespoke Adaptations - i.e. adjustments to the Seat and Back using inflatable air cells, foam profiling and heat & massage points.

We specialise in the supply of work chairs for people suffering with back conditions and disabilities. These can range from relatively straight forward issues such as muscular lumbar pain, often a symptom of poor posture itself, through to more debilitating conditions including wheel chair users.

It is important to note that Adapt chairs are not medical cures and in no way do we make any claims in this respect, however they are specifically designed with correct posture in mind and to provide each individual user with the maximum level of comfort possible, regardless of circumstances.

One to One Seating Assessment

We will visit individual workers at their workstation or alternatively arrange a visit to our assessment facility at Yate near Bristol and through a process of observation and discussion we will identify problems relating to the individual users posture.

When visiting on site, wherever possible, we will attempt to adjust the existing chair to bring about a satisfactory result, however if the current seating is found to be lacking or unsuitable in any respect we will provide a written recommendation which will provide all the information required to ensure any replacement chair purchased will offer the user a correct and proper solution.

If required we can bring in samples of seating to demonstrate the principles of correct posture, however if a full fitting is required we would recommend a visit to the assessment facility where where we can demonstrate the full capability of the products as well as discuss & specify for particular requirements. We also design bespoke chairs for users with special requirements enabling them to achieve a higher individual standard of comfort in the workplace.

We are happy to work closely with your physiotherapist or occupational therapist to achieve the very best solutions. Where a recommendation is made we will automatically supply a quote accordingly. This may be used simply as a bench mark to test the market as there is absolutely no obligation to purchase, however, we do offer a refund of up to 100% of the assessment fee against items purchased from the quotation. We will also set up/ install and train as appropriate

In the first instance we will visit your offices to conduct full DSE Workstation Risk Assessments that will identify and highlight any potential H&S problems. Secondly we will advise any action deemed necessary in a written report and, where appropriate, note any instructions given to individual employees on matters that they should address as part of their personal responsibility. As part of the assessment we will also check that the work chair being used is suitable and if required set it up correctly. If the existing seating is found to be unsuitable in any respect, we will carry out a ‘one to one’ seating assessment which will provide a recommendation based on the individual requirements of that user. Finally we will provide a detailed quote for the supply of any equipment that is required.

There is no obligation to purchase, however the provision of a quote may help, if only as a benchmark, particularly in situations where the type of equipment quoted falls outside of the normal procurement pattern. In the event of any recommended equipment being purchased we will undertake to install and train as appropriate, additionally we will refund up to 100% of the assessment cost!
